A community workshop open to anyone.
How do we build and maintain resilience when times feel unsettled and unpredictable? How do we respond when we experience anti-Semitism, anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim rhetoric, racism or a hate crime?
Join us to discuss how the awareness or experience
of oppression can be a trauma trigger.
This workshop uses techniques for healing historical trauma and will include interactive reflection, skill-building, and a discussion of Jewish history and cultural practices that support community resilience. We’ll learn how to apply clinical research — on trauma, domestic violence and healing — to challenges our communities are facing today.
