For our May meeting, Indivisible Eastside members will be providing dinner for the for the men residing at the PorchLight Men’s Shelter and learning about the program and facility. We hop you can join us!

Schedule:
- 4:45pm Check in and drop food off in kitchen
- 5:00-5:45pm Facility tour and presentation on homelessness on the Eastside
- 5:45-6:30pm Serve dinner
- 6:30pm IE Members can choose to stay for dinner if they like
Indivisible Eastside will be purchasing fried chicken from Ezell’s for the protein. The rest of the menu will be mac n’ cheese (we will provide the recipe and disposable pan for consistency), green salad/veggies, and dessert. We must provide food for 100 men plus any IE Members who want to stay for dinner, so we are requesting each volunteer make a portion big enough to serve 25 people.
If you would rather not provide any food, we would still welcome you to attend (make sure to sign up with link above) and donate to Indivisible Eastside HERE. (All donations through May 31st will be matched by Indivisible National up to $500.)
